Help Turkey- Syria Earthquake victims

In the early morning of February 6, 2023, a powerful earthquake with a magnitude of 7.8 was reported to have struck the South Eastern part of Turkey in the city of Gaziantep. A few hours after, a second earthquake struck with a magnitude of 7.7 on the Richter scale which claimed 23,553 people.

Currently, Turkey-Syria also continues to face severe weather conditions, as winter storms are bringing snow and icy winds to the area with just over 4 million refugees and asylum-seekers under temporary and international protection.

The Canadian Red Cross is currently working to deliver emergency relief and to get help to those impacted by the earthquakes as quickly as possible. Money is being raised to provide immediate relief, ongoing recovery efforts, and resiliency and preparedness activities in impacted and surrounding areas. The activities and areas impacted may evolve based on emerging needs and compounding humanitarian crises.

In an effort to help those in need, Forever Yours Lingerie has made a $5000 donation to the Turkey-Syria earthquake victims through Canadian Red Cross. To also seek out further help from our customers we are launching our Bag Donation Program. When you refuse to use a bag when checking out in store, we will donate 0.50 ¢ to this charity to help those in need.
