IT'S BACK - 2023 Spring Fashion Show
It's official! We are so excited to announce the highly-anticipated return of our Forever Yours Lingerie exclusive Fashion Shows! After COVID-19 forced us to bring production to a halt for 3 years, we are finally back and better than ever with the fan-favorite event. As Canada’s No. 1 bra fitting store, our Fashion Shows always allowed us to showcase our beautiful customers with real bodies rocking the runway in our finest lingerie! We love getting the community involved in fun and unique ways whenever possible, and what better way to do that than the Fashion Shows!
We will be starting the year off strong with our Spring Fashion Show happening on Friday, April 28th. *This is a 19+ event!*
This year's show will be a partnership with a very special organization that is near and dear to our hearts, Dress for Success Vancouver. DFSV is a not-for-profit that works tirelessly to help women and non-binary individuals gain financial independence and personal success through enriching efforts including providing skills development programs, career services, and professional attire. They are a pillar within the City of Vancouver and have grown a community that embraces and supports everyone. Their mission is to help women reach their highest potential and enable the confidence to provide them with a bright future. Since first starting operations 24 years ago, DFSV has served over 41,000 women across the Lower Mainland with its resources.
Our very own Sonya Perkins, Owner of Forever Yours Lingerie, believes that partnering with DFSV is the perfect fit for this year's Spring Fashion Show. “As a bra fitting and swim store our number one goal is to help women look and feel confident, so partnering up with Dress for Success Vancouver for our first Fashion Show back in 3 years is the perfect fit considering that their mandate is to help women feel confident going back into the workforce!”
One feature that always made our Fashion Shows a hit was the creative concept behind the curated runway looks. This year, we are poking fun at the common misconception that we face daily from unknowing outsiders of FYL.
“Not Your Granny’s Bra Store,” is the theme of the 2023 Spring Fashion Show, and that is exactly what we want the world to know. Oftentimes, individuals assume we are a typical, tired, old-school intimates store that sells bras only for a certain demographic, however, that couldn't be farther from the truth. We have grown so much throughout the years, and strive always to have something for every body shape, age, and preference. Color, basic, patterned, plain, sexy, modest… you name it, we got it! Whether you're a size 0, or a size 26, 20-years old or 80 years old, we have something for everyone and can guarantee we can match you in something you feel sexy in. There's no barrier to feeling like your best self, and we want to further prove that on the runway.
The Fashion Show will feature some of our favorite and finest lingerie we carry. Brands like Empriente, a prestigious lingerie brand that creates high-end products in sustainable ways with fine, European-made materials. Prima Donna will also be a front-runner on the runway, showcasing their luxurious pieces with extraordinary support and comfort. Elomi, Chantelle, and Fantasie can also be seen in the striking ensembles.
The Spring Fashion Show will take place at our Downtown Langley location. Doors will open at 6:00 PM and the fashion show will begin at 7:00 PM. Attendees will be able to enjoy shopping the Spring collection pieces from 7:30 PM - 9:00 PM. VIP tickets are $55.00 and will include 20% off purchases on the night of the event, as well as a swag bag. General Admission tickets are $35.00 and will include 10% off purchases. Tickets are extremely limited and available for purchase here
Although, like always, the fun doesn't stop at the Fashion Show. The evening will have so much entertainment to offer, including raffles and door prizes with the proceeds benefiting DFSV, as well as partial ticket revenue. Refreshments will also be provided!
There will be a lively production by Passion & Performance Arts Inc. Vancouver, a dance and performance studio that brings excitement and creative energy to every stage. Special guests like local influencers, models, photographers, and media sponsors will be present for the event, capturing the atmosphere of the incredible night.
