A Night At the Carnival!
It's been a while since we've written a post here... which means we're busy. Busy preparing for our annual fashion show! You've seen the sneak peaks of the costumes on our social media feeds and gorgeous photos of the models that will be there. We thought we'd tell you a bit more about what you can expect... If you haven't heard already, on Friday, May 29th 2015 we invite all our loyal customers and fans under the 'big top' to enjoy a fun-filled night of lingerie, carnival games, shopping, burlesque and great food and drinks. We're hosting our annual lingerie fashion show at the Cascades Casino in Langley, BC. All proceeds go towards our charitable initiative, Supportive Start.
So what can you expect?
Lingerie - and lots of it! We wouldn't be living up to our name if we weren't showcasing gorgeous bra and panty sets from brands like PrimaDonna, Empreinte, Chantelle, Freya, Elomi and many more! Lots of flirty lingerie looks will also be on the runway. We chose our favorite babydolls, corsets and stockings to show you. These looks will be topped off with our fantastic costumes that we've been working so hard on since January. Just a sneak peak...
Carnival Games! We've re-created some of our favorite carnival midway games and turned them into a 'tongue-in-cheek' version worthy of a lingerie show. Remember that frusterating game where you had to throw wiffle balls into those bouncy wicker baskets? We might just have a version that involves real bras and ping pong balls! How about balloon pop? This one may just involve a real model. Let your imagination run wild! Once you see the games, you're going to want in. Prizes include carnival themed toys and chances to win merchandise from our suppliers and other door prizes. The best part about these games is that all proceeds from the tickets sold benefit Supportive Start, too!
Nostalgic Treats and Delicious Wine - We're bringing your favorite treats that will bring you back to hot summer nights at your local fair. Bring your sweet tooth for some cotton candy or your savory side for freshly popped popcorn. And once again, Kalala Organic Estate Winery will be pouring their wines all night. With every ticket purchase to the show, you'll get a voucher so your first glass is on us! You're welcome :) We can't tell you everything that's going to be there, but live performances from a burlesque artist and some circus acts might also be making an appearance. It's going to be a spectacle!
